About Me

I am husband, father, and teacher. I recently received my a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen

.

My research focuses on Augustinian accounts of selfhood and identity, ethics, political philosophy, and the philosophy of religion. Particularly, I am interested in how accounts of selfhood inform approaches to liberal democracy . 

In 2017, I received a BS in philosophy from Columbia International University, and in 2021 I earned an MA in philosophy from Biola university

Most importantly, I am  husband to my wife Sydney. We married in  2018; we had our first child, Sonya in 2021 and our second, August in 2023.
